    Hi..
    I have a question..
I dont mean it to be disrespectful but im confused about it.

Why in the picture of the purpose driven write, a hero you never knew and more…
    Theres a guy with tattoos?
I mean, its ok to have tattoos when you are christian?
    Thanks and blessings.

I’m not at all clear as to why it would be a sin to have tattoos. Can you help me understand how someone could reach that conclusion? By the way, no disrespect was received from you brother. Perfectly ok to ask. God bless.

        Thanks for the quick answer.

Thanks for not taking it as an ofense and taking time to make this clear to me.
In the bible says “Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the Lord.”
        ‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭19:28‬ ‭KJV‬‬
        And also:
“What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?”
        ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭6:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Also I think tattoos are like doing a scar on yourself you are hurting your skin as far as I know..

        Thanks again and blessings

I suspect that the qualifier “For the dead” is not just tangential, but is part and parcel of what the commandment forbids. Without that element I’m not clear how it is a sin. I have no desire for one, but I don’t think a clear case can be made that Leviticus 19 applies nor that it is a clear harm to the body. Eating a twinkie is, in my judgment, not a sin, though it is not the healthiest thing a person could eat. Hope that helps.
